Okay, okay... it's just the sun. But when you've had weeks and weeks of rain without seeing the warm, friendly flaming ball of fire in the sky, it feels heavenly when you end up in the desert.
Apparently it's supposed to rain here in Tucson tomorrow, which means that I have brought the Seattle weather with me. This is not good. But at least I got some sun today.
The weather in Seattle has been bumming me out because it's non-stop gloom!! The other winters have been rainy (albeit not quite so bad), but it would only be gloomy for a few days in a row before we got a sunbreak. Plus the rain we've been having is insane. Usually Seattle has days and days of drizzle. Lately we've gotten real rain, rain that soaks your hair and gets your shirt wet in the time it takes you to go from your house to your car.
Yuck.
Grace has been a huge hit here in Tucson, of course. And she's got the system totally figured out already. When Momma says NO, Gracie... she goes to Grandma for a hug!! The problem is it's not just Grandma... she's also got a great-grandma here too. So she's getting royally spoiled!!!
Can you believe those playoff games today?!?! I was in shock for about an hour after the Pittsburgh/Indy game. How shocking!! Wow. I can't believe a team with that great of a win-loss record lost their playoff game at home. And I can't believe Vanderjadt missed that last field goal!!!!!
Just for the record, Kurt thinks it will be Pittsburgh vs. Bears for SuperBowl XL. Let's see if he's right.
