Blankness reigns... but SHOES!
Here I sit watching people royally screw up their lives by marrying people they've never met before... a woman marries a dwarf, another woman marries a pre-operative transsexual, and a man wants to marry a prostitute. Don't these people realize that they are doing the wrong thing?? It has nothing to do with the sexuality choices of each person, or the occupation, or whatever. But these marriages will end in less than a year, and it will be expensive, both monetarily and emotionally speaking. My parents knew each other for a long while before they got married, and it still ended in divorce, albeit after nine years. I just hope they don't have kids....

At this point I am rather looking forward to the end of school. I think everyone's been around everyone else too much... and everyone's getting on each other's nerves. And for some reason my brain just isn't working enough to think of anything interesting to write... I think all my writing creativity got sucked out through my keyboard when I went to write my paper...

But lest I leave y'all without something interesting to read, I shall once more delve into the treasure chest o' happy memories.... Let's see here... hmm... *rummages around in the chest*.... AHA! Got one!! Oh wait... it just left again... damn. Why is my brain so COMPLETELY blank??? Is it Friday yet?!

BUT WAIT!! I forgot to tell you about my SHOES!! Today I was impulsive as hell... My roommate had mentioned getting t-strap Doc Martens, and so she went looking on eBay. NEVER go to eBay unless you want to spend lots of money. :o) I knew this already, but conveniently forgot this fact when presented with the prospect of getting new SHOES!! (Stina and me = Imelda Marcos of the West. Although I'm beginning to think Stina can hold the title herself... hee hee!) Anyhow, she found these quite rad shoes, and she put in a top bid of $60 for me. There was something like 37 minutes left in the auction, but Stina had to go to class, so I was alone with the suspense. I was chatting with Kurt and Joe online, which was a good thing or else I would have gone mad. To make a super long story short, I did manage to be the highest bidder for a whopping $52, which is the most money I've ever spent on shoes. Of course, I rationalize this away by saying I can wear these Mary Janes with almost anything -- a skirt, a dress, pants, jeans, whatever. Oh I'm so excited!! I wish I had them NOW!! Hee hee.....
