Kurt called me earlier today to tell me that his ship has been extended a month. The ship that is supposed to replace his ship has broken down, and it won't be fixed in time for his ship to come home. So they have to stay an extra month so that the other ship can get fixed.

This is so depressing. I am so upset about it. Now that gives us only five weeks from when he gets home till when we are supposed to leave for Rhode Island.

Wahhhhhhh!!

I guess that's just the Navy way.
